Who Are We?
We are just average villagers! Events are planned by people resident in Blackham Village and the planning team is known as the Events Planning Team. It does not have a committee structure.
The ethos of inclusion extends to this arrangement. People contribute as they wish, make suggestions as they occur to them, and can withdraw from an event if they need to. Tasks are not exclusive to one person but are arranged by preference.
The planning team is deliberately limited in numbers to ease availability for meetings and decision making. People with a particular interest or skill required, at the planning statge of an event are welcome to come along.
It could be you!
There is a wider group of supporters who provide additional help and skills when required (e.g. technical support, strength and labour, knowledge, expertise, catering and ideas). There is no limit on numbers in this team. We welcome villagers at any point - even if you just contribute an idea!
